TERESA ANN OLSON ROOM and COMMUNITY PARK

Named after Teresa Ann Olson (1960-1997), an "artist in residence" in weaving and photography, the spacious Teresa Ann Olson Room is a multipurpose area that provides meeting space for program and community groups.  The Community Park provides additional outdoor gathering places (picnic tables and benches) for both program participants and the Bird Island community, as Teresa would have wished.  The downtown park area provides a natural gathering place for community friends to visit and relax as they enjoy the serenity of nature in between their downtown business activities.A fountain, everblooming roses and colorful plantings further enhance the peacefulness of this park in the midst of downtown Bird Island.
